KBC, the nation’s first registered investment advisor to evaluate publicly-traded companies on animal welfare criteria, develops investment strategies as a means of generating financial returns and reducing harm inflicted upon animals by corporate enterprises.
Based on our proprietary research, KBC seeks to identify companies across a range of industries that have reduced their reputational and workforce risks by promoting innovative business practices that enhance the lives of domesticated and wild animals and the ecological health of the planet. Our three strategies are designed to provide investment exposure to companies with solid environment, social and governance profiles that are strong animal welfare performers within their industries.
OUR INVESTMENT PRODUCTS
Our product offerings include ten distinct investment portfolios with varying industry, geographic and company exposures. KBC’s strategies are intended to provide clients with the opportunity for long-term growth of capital and dividend income. Each strategy is comprised primarily of large-cap companies, but also includes exposure to mid-cap and small-cap companies. The strategies are reconstituted semi-annually to reflect KBC’s current animal welfare research and, depending upon market movements, may be rebalanced in the other two quarters.
